Day 1; Marmaris – Rhodes, Rhodes City Tour
Departure at 08:45 from Marmaris Port.
After completing check-in procedures at the ferry office located at Marmaris Cruise Port at least 1 hour before departure, we set off for Rhodes by high-speed catamaran. After approximately 1 hour of sea travel, we are welcomed by our guide at Rhodes Port and depart from the port to carry out the City Tour. During the panoramic City Tour, we will see the Mandraki Port, which is the main port of Rhodes where the famous Rhodes statue mentioned in ancient times was located, Murat Reis Mosque, Elli Beach, which is very clean despite being close to the city center, Akvaryum Area, and the Kritika (Crete) neighborhood where Turks exiled from Crete lived together for a time. After a photo break at Monte Smith Hill, where magnificent views of both the New City and the Old Town can be seen, we visit the ancient Rhodes Acropolis, established in the 3rd century BC, home to archaeological artifacts. After visiting the Apollo Statue and the Ancient Stadium, we will travel by bus to the Old Town area. The Old Town area will continue as a walking tour. Within the historic walls, through narrow streets, we visit structures that reflect the shared heritage of the Knights of St. John, Ottomans, and Italians, creating a journey through time; these include the Street of the Knights, Ahmet Ağa Library, Ottoman Madrasa and Baths, the Grand Master Palace famous for its statues and mosaics, the Archaeological Museum which once housed the knights' hospital, Mustafa Pasha Mosque, the Clock Tower, the Turkish School, Cem Sultan House, and Ibrahim Pasha Mosque, all accompanied by our guide. The City Tour concludes at the Fountain Square, also known as Hippocrates Square, after which we will transfer to the hotel for accommodation.
Day 2; Free Day in Rhodes
After breakfast at the hotel, you can either cool off and sunbathe in Rhodes’ magnificent sea or rent a car to embark on a journey through the rich history and culture of the Aegean island of Rhodes. In the late afternoon, wandering through the narrow streets of the old town and taking photographs is ideal. The architectural works of the civilizations that have lived on the island can be encountered everywhere. For your dinner, it is recommended to make a reservation in advance at seafood restaurants, as well as taverns featuring Greek music. Overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 3; Free Day in Rhodes
After breakfast at the hotel, you can either cool off and sunbathe in Rhodes’ magnificent sea or go shopping in the island center. In the late afternoon, wandering through the narrow streets of the old town and taking photographs is ideal. The architectural works of the civilizations that have lived on the island can be encountered everywhere. For your dinner, it is recommended to make a reservation in advance at seafood restaurants, as well as taverns featuring Greek music. Overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 4; Free Day in Rhodes, Rhodes – Marmaris, (Lindos Tour – Extra: 50 Euro)
Departure from Rhodes Port at 16:00.
After breakfast at the hotel, you can either rent a car to embark on a journey through the rich history and culture of the Aegean island of Rhodes. Alternatively, you can join the Lindos Tour, which is organized extra by our guide, visiting the cutest, warmest, and richest town on the island. Along the way, you can see the locations where some scenes from the film Zorba were shot in the Kallithea region and visit Tsampika Monastery, where childless people in Greece go to pray for children. In Lindos, you can stroll through white houses, narrow streets adorned with white slate stones, and enjoy the unique sea. The Lindos Tour concludes at the port used for return.
Guests who do not join the Lindos Tour should be ready at the port 1 hour before the ferry departure time to pass through passport control. After approximately 1 hour of sea travel, we arrive at Marmaris Port.
