Get ready for a wonderful program in Samos, one of the most enjoyable islands in the Aegean, where you will both relax and experience moments full of discovery.
Day 1 | Departure from Kuşadası – Vathy Exploration
In the morning, we meet at 07:30 at Kuşadası Cruise Port. After our passport procedures, we depart at 08:30 by fast ferry and after approximately 45 minutes of pleasant sea journey, we arrive at the central Vathy Port of Samos Island. On some dates, our guide may meet you at Samos Port and join the tour from there.
During the passport and visa procedures, our guide will assist you. We recommend guests who will obtain a gate visa to sit at the front of the ferry for a smoother process.
Our check-in time at the hotel is 14:00, but earlier entry to our rooms may be possible depending on availability. Our hotels are centrally located and within walking distance of everywhere, so there is no transfer service.
In the afternoon, we gather at 15:00 in the hotel lobby and start discovering Vathy with our guide. During our walking tour lasting about 1 hour, we receive information about the island's history, local culture, pleasant restaurants, and entertainment spots.
In your remaining free time, you can sit in cafes overlooking Vathy, take a walk along the beach, or enjoy the sea.
In the evening, one of the most beautiful events reflecting the spirit of the island awaits you. In our extra organized Taverna Night program, we have fun in a pleasant atmosphere with live Greek music. The menu offered includes unlimited uzo and wine. Guests who wish can get recommendations from our guide to continue their night entertainment at different locations.
Day 2 | Grand Island Tour
After breakfast at our hotel, we meet at the reception at 10:15 and set off to explore the island. During our tour, we first panoramic view the Vathy region and receive general information about the island's settlement.
Then we change our route to Kokari, one of the most photogenic spots on the island. After our guide gives information about the area, we will have free time here. Guests can enjoy the turquoise sea, walk along the beach, or take great photos with postcard views.
Our next stop is Pythagorion, known as the birthplace of the famous mathematician Pythagoras. In this area, which captivates with its historical texture and coastal atmosphere, we tour with our guide; we receive information about Samos Castle, the Transfiguration Church, and the famous Blue Street. After a short walk in the port area, we take a photo break in front of the Pythagoras Monument.
Then, we are offered a pleasant lunch break at one of the most popular restaurants by the sea. You can try fresh seafood and the flavors of Greek cuisine.
On the way back, we have a short shopping break at Lidl, one of Europe’s largest chain stores. Here you can find both reasonably priced products and local tastes.
Day 3 | Samos – Return to Kuşadası
(Optional Boat Tour Opportunity)
After our breakfast, we check out of our rooms. You may leave your luggage at the hotel and enjoy the last moments on the island until the ferry hour.
For guests wishing for an unforgettable experience, an optional private boat tour is organized. We enjoy a pleasant 4-hour blue cruise with our maximum 20-person capacity boat from Vathy Port, stopping for swimming breaks in coves that are not accessible by land.
At our return time, we meet in front of Samos City Hotel and walk to the port. The hotel is within walking distance to the port, so no transfer service is provided. After passport procedures and free shop shopping, we board the ferry and after approximately 45 minutes of travel, we arrive in Kuşadası.
