Meeting at the departure terminal of Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport. Departure for Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, on AJet flight VF1001 at 17:05. After a comfortable flight, arrival at 17:55 local time and, following passport control and entry procedures, transfer to our hotel by our private vehicle waiting at the airport. Day 2: Belgrade – Sarajevo
After breakfast, we depart for Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Upon arrival, we begin our panoramic city tour of a city that was the cultural capital of the Balkans for centuries and became world-famous as the place where World War I broke out after the assassination of Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand by the Serbs in 1914. In the 1992 war, it suffered great damage due to devastating conflicts between Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks, yet Sarajevo managed to preserve much of its beauty. During our panoramic tour, we will see the famous Baščaršija, the historic Ottoman inn Morica Han, the Catholic Cathedral reflecting the city’s religious cosmopolitanism, the Synagogue, Gazi Husrev-bey and Ferhadija Mosques, Latin Bridge where the Franz Ferdinand assassination took place in 1914, the Old Library, and the western-style buildings formed during the city’s 40 years under Austro-Hungarian rule. Day 3: Sarajevo - Mostar - Blagaj - Počitelj - Medugorje
After breakfast, we depart Sarajevo. Our first stop is Mostar, famous for its historical and cultural richness. Here we will see the Mostar Bridge, a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture built by Mimar Hayreddin in 1557. This bridge was destroyed in 1992, but was rebuilt in 2004 with the contribution of the Republic of Turkey. After exploring the enchanting atmosphere of Mostar, we will visit the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque. Then we head to Blagaj. Blagaj is built at the source of the Buna River, which is Europe’s strongest water source. After some free time here, we continue to Počitelj. Visiting Počitelj, preserved with its historical texture and known as the Turkish Village, we will see the works built by the Ottomans in the 16th century. Finally, we depart for Medugorje. Day 4: Medugorje – Sv. Stefan – Budva – Kotor – Shkodër
After breakfast, we leave our hotel and head toward enchanting Kotor. During the journey, you will enjoy magnificent scenery. Upon arrival in Kotor, during our walking tour of this medieval town famous for its fjords in the Balkans, you will feel the historical atmosphere of the narrow streets and old town and discover the heart of Kotor. With its unique architecture and sea views, this small town will take you on a journey through time. Then our next stop is Budva, one of the Balkans’ most popular holiday destinations! After our panoramic city tour, we head to Sv. Stefan, famous for its rich history and breathtaking views. We will admire the magnificent view of this islet from above. This region, picturesque at every corner, is an ideal spot for photography. After all these discoveries, we continue to the beautiful city of Shkodër in Albania. Day 5: Shkodër – Tirana - Ohrid
After breakfast, we depart our hotel and set off for Tirana, the capital of Albania. In this beautiful city rich in history and culture, an impressive tour awaits us to explore Tirana, considered the center of Bektashism in Europe. Upon arrival in Tirana, we visit the Ethem Bey Mosque, one of the city’s most important symbols. This structure, whose construction began in 1789 and was completed in 1923, is one of Albania’s cultural heritages. We take a short break at Skanderbeg Square and see the Skanderbeg Statue standing proudly in the center of the square. The Clock Tower, the symbol of Tirana, built by Ethem Bey in 1821, is also one of the highlights of our tour. During this tour, Tirana’s modern face and historical past come together to create unforgettable memories. After free time, we travel to Ohrid. Scenic views accompany us along the way. Upon arrival in Ohrid, we will take a tour introducing the historic city of Ohrid, which was one of the important bases of the Ottomans in the Balkans. Day 6: Ohrid – Tetovo – Skopje
After breakfast, we gather our luggage and set off to discover Macedonia’s unique nature and cultural treasures. Our first stop is Tetovo, one of Macedonia’s most attractive towns. Here we will visit the Painted Mosque, one of the most colorful and impressive mosques in the Balkans. Built in the 15th century, this mosque will fascinate you with its vibrant exterior colors and detailed decorations. As we explore this rare example of Ottoman architecture, we will take a journey deep into history. After our visit to Tetovo, we travel toward Priština, the capital of Kosovo, accompanied by lush green mountains. Upon arrival in Priština, we begin our panoramic city tour, during which we will explore Kosovo’s modern and historical sides. During the tour, we will also visit many valuable Ottoman-era structures. We will see the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Mosque and the 18th-century Yaşar Pasha Mosque. As we tour this city rich in historical heritage, we will visit the Tomb of Ottoman Sultan Murad I Hüdavendigar, who was killed in the Kosovo Plain as a result of the Battle of Kosovo in 1389, giving us an opportunity to commemorate this important historical event and its place in Ottoman history. After our tour of Priština, we set off for Skopje. Scenic views of Macedonia accompany us along the way. Upon arrival in Skopje, our first stop is the Mustafa Pasha Mosque, built in 1492 and one of the largest and most magnificent mosques in the city. Then we visit the Murat Pasha Mosque, built in the 15th century. This mosque is especially notable for its Ottoman-era ornamentation and architecture. Continuing our tour, we will see Kapan Han and Sulu Han in the heart of Skopje. These structures are fine examples of Ottoman-era inns and were once important centers where merchants stayed and traded. Later, we visit the Stone Bridge, which has become a symbol of Skopje. Built in the 15th century, it connects the two sides of the Vardar River. Walking across the Stone Bridge, we continue our tour by seeing the Turkish and Jewish neighborhoods along the Vardar River. During our riverside walk, we pass through Macedonia Square. This square is Skopje’s largest and most central point, surrounded by modern buildings.
