Day 1: Istanbul - Kathmandu
We meet at Istanbul airport and after completing the ticket and baggage procedures for Turkish Airlines' direct flight, we take our seats on the flight and our journey begins. We spend the night on the plane.
Day 2: Kathmandu
Upon our arrival in Kathmandu in the morning, we will head to the city center and then start our panoramic city tour. Our first stop will be Durbar Square, known as the Palace Square. Here we will have the chance to see many buildings and temples that have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and admire their architecture. Next, we will visit the Swyambhunath Temple, also known as the Monkey Temple, where we can see hundreds of monkeys and enjoy the panoramic view of the city. Afterwards, we will visit the Patan Square, known as the "City of Fine Arts". After completing our tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.
Day 3: Kathmandu
After breakfast, we continue to explore Kathmandu. First, we will visit the Pashupatinath Temple, dedicated to the God Shiva, which was built on the banks of the Bagmati River 1600 years ago. After our visit to this UNESCO World Cultural Heritage-listed temple, we will visit the Bouddhanath Stupa, known as one of the largest stupas in the world with a diameter of 100 meters and a height of 40 meters (a stupa means a Buddhist temple that cannot be entered). Later, we will explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which has not lost its charm for centuries, and walk through the side streets, feeling as if we are in the 17th century during the Nepal Malla period. Our dinner and accommodation will be at our hotel.
Day 4: Kathmandu – Delhi - Jaipur
After breakfast, we will transfer to the airport for our flight to Delhi. We will fly to Delhi with a local airline. After our arrival, we will be transferred to Jaipur with our special transfer vehicle. We will visit the City Palace located in the center of Jaipur, the Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory, and take a photo break in front of the Wind Palace. After our tour, we will return to our hotel. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel in Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the Amber Fort, located 11 kilometers outside of Jaipur, which was the capital of the region until 1728. While climbing to the top of this famous fort with the jeeps, we will also have the opportunity to see the magnificent Hall of Mirrors (Sheesh Mahal), also known as the Hall of Victory, Jai Mahal, Birla Temple, and Kali Temple. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel in Jaipur.
Day 6: Jaipur - Agra
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Agra, and our journey will take approximately 5-6 hours. Upon arrival in Agra, we will explore the Taj Mahal, which is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. After our tour, we will also visit Agra Fort, known as the "Red Fort." After our tour, dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
Day 7: Agra - Delhi
After our breakfast, we will move to Delhi. Upon our arrival, we will start our city tour. Delhi is a city rich in monuments and architecture with a history of various dynasties, and it has been located on the banks of the Yamuna River for five hundred years, serving as a great metropol and city of graves where many cities have risen and fallen. During our tour, we will visit the Red Fort, built by Shah Jahan from red sandstone in an octagonal shape, and the largest mosque in India, the Friday Mosque. Afterwards, we will continue our tour with visits to the India Gate, a monument dedicated to the First World War, the Presidential Palace, Narayan Temple, and the Parliament and Government Buildings in New Delhi. At the end of our tour, we will return to our hotel, where we will have dinner. Overnight stay at our hotel in Delhi.
Day 8: Delhi – Colombo – Pinnawala - Dambulla
After breakfast, we will head to the airport to fly to Sri Lanka. After completing our ticket and baggage procedures, we will fly to Colombo with a local airline. Upon arrival at the airport, we will board our bus and head towards Dambulla. On the way, we will visit the world's first Elephant Orphanage, established in 1975 in Pinnewala, where we will watch the feeding and bathing of elephants that have been found injured or as babies. After that, we will continue our journey to Dambulla. Upon arrival in the city, we will transfer to our hotel for rest. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 9: Dambulla – Sigiriya - Dambulla
After breakfast, we will set off to explore the Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla. This is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The temple, built inside the cave in the 1st century, focuses on the sculptures and frescoes depicting Buddha and his life. After our visit, we will head to another ancient city, Sigiriya. This ancient city, known as the Lion Rock, is located on a magnificent rock that lives up to its name, and it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The foundation of this ancient city dates back to 477 BC and is located 370 meters above sea level. We will admire this castle, which rises from the lush nature and dominates the area like a bird's eye view, and then head back to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 10: Dambulla – Kandy - Colombo
After breakfast, we will reach Kandy in the center of the country and set out to explore the city. After enjoying a pleasant walk around Kandy Lake in the center, we will visit the Temple of the Tooth, which is a pilgrimage site for Buddhists. This sacred temple was built after Buddha's tooth was brought to Sri Lanka in the 4th century and is known as one of the most important places in Sri Lanka. We will then move on to Colombo. Upon arrival, we will transfer to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel.
Day 11: Colombo - Istanbul
After having breakfast at our hotel, we will transfer to the airport for our flight to Istanbul. We will depart for Istanbul with a scheduled flight by Turkish Airlines. Our tour concludes upon our arrival in Istanbul. We hope to see you on another tour.
