1. Day: From İzmir to Diyarbakır and Mardin to East's Flavors Tour
We are planning at İzmir Airport in early morning hours and we fly to Diyarbakır with Sunexpress. When we reach Diyarbakır, we are starting with a breakfast with local flavors and this tour is the first place. Then we begin to explore the historical and cultural wealth of the city: visit the home of the Grand Mosque and the famous Four-foot Minare, the largest poet Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı and the Museum of Ziya Gökalp. We visit Dengbej House and Hevsel Gardens on the day.
After Diyarbakır, we turn to Midyat. In this part of the trip, we have the opportunity to taste Midyat Plate, a full lunch with culture and kitchen.
