TOUR PROGRAM:
Day 1 — South Island Tour
We meet at the check-in office at the entrance of Çeşme Customs Port at 08:00 for the Chios Island tour. After passport control, we set sail at 09:20 into the blue of the Aegean Sea and after approximately 30 minutes of a pleasant ferry ride, we reach Chios Island.
After completing our entry procedures, we begin our South Island tour with our guide. Our first stop is the village of Armolia, famous for its handmade ceramics. We take a short break at one of the ceramic workshops.
Next, we go to Mesta, the best-preserved castle-village from the medieval period. We stroll through the labyrinthine streets, take a coffee break in the village square, and visit the Taxiarhis Church.
Afterward, we head to Pyrgi village, known for its houses decorated with geometric patterns. We receive information about this special decoration technique called "Ksista" from our guide.
We complete our tour with a lunch break at a tavern by the sea where our guests can enjoy various seafood and mezes. Following lunch, we transfer to our hotel for free time.
Day 2 — Free Time – Taverna Night
After breakfast at our hotel, we have Free Time. Our guests can enjoy this time at local restaurants, take pleasant walks along the beach, or go shopping.
In the evening, our guests can participate in a fun Greek night with live music and dancing, where they can taste the unique flavors of traditional Greek cuisine, accompanied by “bouzouki”.

Day 2 — Thymiana Village (Mostra Carnival Event) – Return Journey
After breakfast at our hotel, we check out of our rooms and take our seats on the bus. We head to Thymiana village, known for its houses made of red stones, to watch the carnival events and processions. The exact beginning of the Mostra carnival is unknown, but its roots are based on a true story that took place in the Middle Ages. Over the ages, pirates have plundered the island for Mastic and its riches. One day, while the islanders were indulging in festivities, the lookout warned them of approaching pirates. In the excitement of the celebration, the whole village rushed to the shore to set a trap for the pirates. After a fierce battle, they repulsed the pirate raid and hanged those they captured in the village square. In memory of this victory, every year on the last Sunday of the festival month, they reenact this battle with sword games called ‘Talimi’ and in special costumes. After having a meal and free time here, we complete our tour and head back to our vehicle for the return journey. We then transfer to the port, complete our passport control procedures, and begin our return journey to Çeşme.
